September is Life Insurance Awareness Month!!!

Really?  There is a month that is given to make people aware of life insurance??  Is it kind of like Sweetest Day where my husband thinks it is just for the card companies to make more money? 

No matter what it is…I believe in it.  I believe in life insurance.  I am passionate about it.  I have witnessed the comfort it has given many families and spouses when I hand over the death benefit check. 

I know the economy is tough right now.  Are we ever 100% prepared when a tragedy strikes?  Probably not.  But I believe that each and every one of us needs to be “somewhat” prepared and responsible in the event of the death of a loved one.  My intention with today’s blog is to educate you and to make you think….

1)  “Some” life insurance is better than none – do not wait until you can “afford” the perfect policy.  Get “some” insurance in place while you are healthy!

2)  If you rely on your paycheck (AND your spouses) then it is smart to protect it.

3)  Stay at home parents need life insurance too – How will you afford to do what he/she does at home in the event of death?

4)  1/3 of people haven’t bought life insurance because they are unsure of how much or what type to buy – CALL ME!  I promise to lead you into the right direction in an affordable, responsible way.
